Lately...Photoshoots

Lately, I've been pretty hard working freelancing... Did a few test shoots with super creative people!

Love this shoot, dark bondagey styling, fierce like crazy! And yeap Avant Garde makeup.

And  a shoot I've always wanted to do very long!!!

Yeap, too bad, my crazy lash covered the crazy eye shadows.

TIP: A great way to make your eye shadows more intense is to use a good eye shadow primer, for me my favourite eye shadow primer would be Two Faced Shadow Insurance! I tested it side by side with Urban Decay's Eye Shadow Primer when I was too free shopping at Sephora. And obviously Two Face won the test, it was so much more intense. Here a snapshot of it incase if you wanna get it

Hello guys sorry for the lack of updates, I'm experiencing a laptop crisis at the moment...Bear with me a little while I'm getting a new one pretty soon :)

Other than Kate brow powders, I would totally recommend Dollywink Otona series brow powders, comparable or even better than M.A.C. brow powders! The lightest shade goes really well with blonde hair, pigments are in rather fine granulometry. M.A.C. brow powders are more pricey :(

No.#03 Shade Brow Mascara

I am using 01 brow mascara on my brows, saves me so much effort on dying my eye brows. Totally recommend you this brand as the mascara is applied on my brows really well, as compared to Kiss Me HEAVY ROTATION brow mascara(Image below). It is rather cakey, hard and does not coat well. As compared to Dollywink Otona series. As it coats really well from different directions of applying and still your brows feel soft even after drying!

Urgh nice shot by my pudding hair is growing out. Admiring my just blonded brow LOL.

Ever tried bottom lashes? If not please try it! It looks really natural for the Otona series! If you want to play safe get bottom lashes fixed in a straight direction!

Tried Dollywink Otona series Lash #13 Baby girl on a day to work

It brings more attention to the eyes! Plus my colleague, photographer says it looks good and all au nautral! XD She would totally not know it is fake, if I have not told her!!! She love my pink beaded Greek Goddess top too ( >3<)

Crazy book haul!!! at PAGEONE warehouse sale!

Hello hello people,  I am back again to share with you my book hauls today!

My blog is pretty much about fashion and makeup so here are some stuffs I've got...

Apparently...Pageone is closing down hence the warehouse sale... 

It will still be on till the 2nd of January so be sure to be there to grab some awesome discounted books!

31st Dec to 1st Jan they will be operating from 10am to 8pm!

2nd of January it will be 10am to 6pm!

The queue is insane I was queuing since 11:20am and only manage to pay at 12:50pm

As you can see the other side is the cashier line, from my side all the way into the sauna warehouse and out like a little millipede line...(eh..?) While waiting for my long long long turn, I grabbed book from here and there to read to kill time my phone battery is also dying on me...tsk.

Ah yes Pattern Magic, 1 & 2(SGD $26.21 each). When I was in school my lecturer highly recommends me this book and says that if we master most of the technique there, we would be great designers.Yes I failed to do that exercise so...I'm not gonna give up!  

And Research and Design(SGD $34.30) is a great book for aspiring fashion design students or fashion designers out there. It teaches you how to develop your ideas full and such. It is also another book which my lecturers highly recommends.

These two are the must buy for fashion design students!!!

Period hairstyle, has this step by step guide to do signature look of different eras, which I find it useful. But it isn't really detailed at some parts you have to figure it out yourself... SGD$9.22

I would really recommend Pro Make-up Artist, as it is quite a comprehensive guide to makeup, and yes it is qualified to be called Pro Make-up Artist book! SGD$13.40 -> Must buy!

 And guess what I bought that Ganguro girls book for a SGD $1, it is pretty much useless but it is nice to flip through it once in a while when you are bored.
