CandyDoll Magical Runway at Reebonz

Firstly I really wanna thank Mawaki-さん, asking me along to assist him with his makeup demo, if we haven't met, I think I wouldn't be at the event... (T-T ) We met by accident, timing was just right!

Man, I would have bought a couple of things from Reebonz if only that day was pay day. tsk. Girls who came down to the event get to enjoy a lot of discounts on that day.
Even CandyDoll makeups were SOOOOO MUCH CHEAPERRRRR, correct me if I'm wrong it $5 to $8 cheaper? THAT'S ALOT!!!!
So be sure to catch CandyDoll's next event!!!!!
and save $$$ on CandyDoll Cosmetics ;)

I come to notice my maxi dress is making me look big... OTL

CandyDoll products! Shading compressed powder is a new in product!
Be sure to get it to shade your face smaller

All the blush colours and highlight...missing a liliac highlight
I really love the pink flamingo colour,
should have bought it  together with the pink ramune colour.
*!@$@%$%&%$%@#!@^&(&*)*(#@$# at myself*

I WANT THE PINK RAMUNE COLOUR (T~T )

I REALLY REALL REALL REALLY REALLLLLY LOVE CandyDoll's Pink Ramune Lip colour. Apricot Beige is rather nude, but with more of an orangey tinge, it in my opinion it wouldn't make you look unhealthy pale. Well that depends on your skin tone too. M.O.S.S (S) Pte Ltd would you be so kind you give me Pink flamingo blush and Pink Ramune lipstick? *kira kira puppy eyes* LOLOLOL ok...RIGHHHHHT HANA...

MOVING FORWARD(sounds familiar where did I hear this 2 words from)...

What Mawaki-san taught the girls are, the way to use Base > Foundation > Concealing >how to shade and highlight accordingly!

Assisting Mawaki-san, and I also picked up a few tips and trick from him as well!

Mawaki-san working his magic :)

HERE'S THE MOST INTERESTING PART
Anyway here is a diagram on how to shade a face according to your shape.
What we want to achieve shading a face is obviously to make one's face smaller.
Tsubasa highly recommends all beautiful ladies to use this technique!
Taken from CandyDoll

This first diagram explains and shows the area to shade on a round face(top) and a square face(bottom[my face T~T])

This first diagram explains and shows the area to shade on a long face(top) and a triangle face(bottom)

Denise, Nini, Pearly and Golly were there :D I wasn't lonely at all ♥
Well of course not forgetting Kaori and Mawaki さんs LOL

my fail self taken photo, as you can see my make for the day, was using DollyWink's Bohemian eyeshadow palette(first attempt).

Mawakiさん and Kaoriさん, Kaori is so petite

Group picture with the 2nd Group!

So ladies please remember, there are no short cuts if you wanna look beautiful(cliché but truth...). If your are meticulous  doing your make, everyone could see your invested time and skill, practice makes perfect. ;) Normally I would spend at least an hour and a half on hair and makeup.

Remember when putting on eyeshadow or blush layer it, as it will be easier to work with a little by a little instead of having too much and you have to rub off, or worse clean it all off(wastage of products). Less is more!

Dolly Wink Otona Series Prelaunch Lunch

As usual Singapore is slow in releasing this series which has already been release months ago.
Here's a 30sec Dolly Wink CM

Tsubasa-san is so adorable <3 for her.

I was the lucky few who got invited by Mandom to try Dolly wink's Otona Series. WOOOHOOO~

Thank you Sochii for the pictures :)
Shino, Seika and Me~ Taking photos while waiting for the lovely pancakes from TCC

Other than Kate brow powders, I would totally recommend Dollywink Otona series brow powders, comparable or even better than M.A.C. brow powders! The lightest shade goes really well with blonde hair, pigments are in rather fine granulometry. M.A.C. brow powders are more pricey :(

No.#03 Shade Brow Mascara

I am using 01 brow mascara on my brows, saves me so much effort on dying my eye brows. Totally recommend you this brand as the mascara is applied on my brows really well, as compared to Kiss Me HEAVY ROTATION brow mascara(Image below). It is rather cakey, hard and does not coat well. As compared to Dollywink Otona series. As it coats really well from different directions of applying and still your brows feel soft even after drying!

Urgh nice shot by my pudding hair is growing out. Admiring my just blonded brow LOL.

Sparkling Cotton Candy Take #1

Sparkling Cotton Candy Take #2

Puri Kura with everyone! + 1 Gyaru-O

Ever tried bottom lashes? If not please try it! It looks really natural for the Otona series! If you want to play safe get bottom lashes fixed in a straight direction!

Tried Dollywink Otona series Lash #13 Baby girl on a day to work

It brings more attention to the eyes! Plus my colleague, photographer says it looks good and all au nautral! XD She would totally not know it is fake, if I have not told her!!! She love my pink beaded Greek Goddess top too ( >3<)
Hope you guys enjoy experimenting with the lashes for work looks! ( ^3^)
Remember when you look good you feel good!

Xoxo,
Hana L. <3

Wong Kar Wai x Shu Uemura

Advert by WKW titled: Mask
"A fantasia rich with emotions, "Mask" is a dance between the extreme heat of passion and a sea of calm, climaxing in a glittering shower of healing beauty."

Beautiful aint it?

OMGOMGOMGOMGBBQ!
My favorite director, Wong Kar Wai collaborates with Shu Uemura to come up this year holiday makeup collection, sorry I might be a little slow...

Who is Wong Kar Wai?
Girl, your missing out on a lot, the last great film that he directed was My Blueberry Nights starring Norah Jones, Jude Law.

He is most famous for directing Chungking Express, Happy Together, In the Mood for Love and 2046.

I love the that unique art direction he put across in his movie. The use of music, dark lit/colour filtered lit settings. These movies exudes a strong distinctive Hong Kong essence so must that when I went Hong Kong I felt like as if I was living his movies...

Palette are inspired by Charles Bukowsk's poem "Burning in water, drown in flame." Hence, two colour palette, bleu and rouge
Bleu palette on the left and rouge palette on the right
Each palette is retailing at SGD$115
Nail colours SGD$49 each set

Other items,
Mascara with glitter SGD$45, lip rouge SGD45 as well, Lashes SGD$45& SGD125, White Recovery Ex+ Brightening Cleaning Oil with Advanced Formula($155 450ml), blush and brush set SGD $125.

Oh man seeing in pictures is just not enough for me, I'm going to drop by Shu Uemura later and have a closer look, and try it all out!

Awesome 'new' product CandyDoll

While waiting for a friend, I saw this 'new' product on Watson's shelf...
Like FINALLY CandyDoll Cosmetics! WOOOOOHOOOOOOO...

Obviously that is Tsubasa Masuwaka who endorsed for the product...
Having too much time on my side, I did a comparison of blushers between CandyDoll and Canmake!

I tried orange blush back when I was in makeup school and fell in love with orange ever since...Check out Tsubasa's look with orange blush, it's gorgeous!!! <3

Having too much time on my side I've decided to do a comparison of blushers...CandyDoll Carrot Orange blush vs Canmake Cream Cheek blush and also Canmake Powder Cheeks

Left to right: Canmake Cream Cheek 10 Sweet orange, CandyDoll Carrot Orange, Canmake PW16 Nable Orange

without flash
with flash

Canmake orange blushers are more on the redtones and shimmers, for CandyDoll is more of a matt pure yellow orange tone. As for me I'm looking that sort of yellow orange tone, shimmer free blush, CandyDoll($25.90?) is perfect for me, texture is rather dense and powder is really fine. The pigment is just right, blend according to how instense u want it to be. Actually I would also suggest getting Canmake's Powder Cheeks Nable Orange, as it has a beautiful orange tone to it, neither too much on the yellow side or on the red side. Most of all the price is super attractive, $14.90 and usually Watsons would have 20% off and so it will be retailing for $11.92!!!!!!!! OMGWTFBBQ!!!!!!

As for CandyDoll's lip glosses($22.50?)...

It is rather disappointing, the pigments does not cover your lips properly instead forming lip texture lines, as you can see my lip's skin is peeling off alittle and with that gloss on it makes it even more obvious...And most of all it's the stickiest gloss I have ever tried in my entire life urgh, I would be pretty unpleasant kissing someone with that on...

Hehe tried out my new blusher <3
